Sommelier – Private Members Club – Monday to Friday – London

Job Spec:

We are looking for a Sommelier and for our client a Private Members Club based in Central London.

Based between Hyde Park Corner and Piccadilly the club is a bastion of timeless elegance and British tradition.

The ideal Sommelier will support the Head Sommelier in managing the Club Cellar, and day to day service operation.

The Sommelier must have a good knowledge of wines and a WSET Level 2 would be beneficial.

The Sommelier role is for an immediate start, Monday to Friday, 40 working hours per week.

The shifts are 8 in total and are 3 double shifts and 2 straight shifts for a total of 40 hours per week:

The straight shifts are either:

”              11am to 5pm with 30 mins break or

”              6pm to 11pm (90% of straight shifts will be evening shift)

The double shifts are from:

”            10:30am to 4:30 pm and from

”            6:30pm to 11pm with 30 mins of break during the morning shifts and 2 hours of break         between the two shifts.

The Sommelier will receive:

• Salary of £37,000 per year
• Plus, gratuities and Annual bonus
• 40 working hours per week and over 5 days
• Monday to Friday role
• Closed Bank holidays
• Off between 9 to 12 days off over Christmas
