Junior Sous Chef – City of London – Sunday off

Job Spec:

We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef and for our authentic Italian restaurant in The City of London.

We are only serving food freshly prepared; everything is done in house, and we use the very best seasonal produce.

The ideal Junior Sous Chef does not need to have an extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine

On average we have 200 covers per day, and serve Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner

Last order is at 9.30pm then ½ hour cleaning and the chefs are out by 10.00pm

Lunch service is from 12.30pm to 3.00pm and dinner from 6/6.30pm to 9.30pm

Trial and interviews are taking place now and the start date for Junior Sous Chef role is the beginning of September 2026.

The Junior Sous Chef should have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Experience in high-quality and high-volume kitchen operations
• Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients

In return the Sous Chef will receive:

• £19 per hour and paid for every hour worked
• 45 hours working week
• Sunday always off plus another day during the week
• Closed Bank holidays
• Restaurant is closed from the 25^th of December and up to the 4^th of January
• Receive the support and training from an inspiring Group Head Chef
• Other benefits to be discussed at the interview stage
