Sous Chef – City of London – Sunday off

Job Spec:

We are looking for a Sous Chef and for our Italian restaurant in The City of London.

We are only serving food freshly prepared; everything is done in house and use the very best seasonal produce.

The ideal Sous Chef does not need to have an extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine and must have experience and knowledge in managing a kitchen with up to 10 Chefs

On average we have 200/250 covers per day, and serve Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner wit events during the Xmas season

The ideal Sous Chef should have:

• Experience in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen teams of 8/10 Chefs
• Experience High-quality and high-volume kitchen operations and not necessarily Italian
• Sous Chef that has worked in a similar role
• Sous Chef has Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients

In return the Sous Chef will receive:

• A salary of £50,000 per year including service charge
• Sunday always off plus another day during the week
• Opportunity to work 4 days and have 3 days off
• 48 hours working week
• Restaurant is closed from the 25^th of December and up to the 4^th of January
• Receive the support and training from an inspiring Group Head Chef
