Our client is a Private Clinic/Hospital based in Oxford Circus is now looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Support
They exist to provide specialist intensive day treatment for people with eating disorders and to collaborate with experts by experience, and partners to enhance accessible and quality treatment throughout the UK, so that individuals, families, and communities can thrive.
As part of the team, reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will work to provide assistant to the kitchen team with general tasks within our open plan kitchen, including cleaning, washing up, supporting with meal prep etc.
With an open plan kitchen, it is essential that you can hold boundaries with clients.
The Head Chef will provide on the job training, and they will also provide training.
The Kitchen Assistant/Support will be working with the Kitchen Manager and will provide:
- Daily support to the Head Chef in basic meal preparation
- Food storage
- General cleaning within the kitchen area including dishes, cutlery, work surfaces,
- fridge/freezer etc,
- Unloading of food and beverage deliveries as required
- Serving of food as required
The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic approach and able to work in a fast-paced environment who is comfortable in communicating within a therapeutic environment (training will be provided on holding boundaries, safeguarding etc).
The Kitchen Assistant/Support will receive:
- Basic salary of £24,000 per year
- Work only Monday to Friday
- Work only day shifts and from 10.00am to 6.30pm
- 31 days holidays
- Immediate start
