Head Chef – Restaurant New Opening – Richmond

Job Spec:

We are looking for a Head Chef and for a new restaurant opening in Richmond.

This is a neighbourhood restaurant and late-night bar with a menu that focuses on seasonal plates cooked in wood ovens and served to share.

Only the very best seasonal produce are used and prepared with the least intervention. The cooking is over fire, where the processes of wood-roasting, charring and slow cooking ensure the spirit of menu and kitchen operation.

The ideal Head Chef would have:

• Experience with live fire cooking, and fresh pasta making is a plus
• Experience in managing kitchen teams of at least 15
• High-volume kitchen operations experience would be valuable
• Worked in previous roles with systems in place for ordering, rotas, stock level and control etc.
• Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients and over fire

In return the Head Chef will receive:

• A salary between £75,000 and £85,000 per year
• Be part of an expanding restaurant company and new opening
• Receive the support and training from an inspiring Group Head Chef
• The Head Chef will receive Media exposure
