Job Spec:
We are looking for a Group Head Chef and for our restaurants based in Central London.
The Group Head Chef is a newly created role due to the restaurant group expansion, and he/she will support the Executive Head Chef.
The ideal candidate is a Head Chef that wants to take on more responsibilities and move up the career ladder.
The Group Head Chef salary is between £65,000 and £70,000 per year and the role is for an immediate start
The restaurant group includes 4 successful restaurants with a new opening in the pipeline.
We have been awarded the Bib Gourmand for several consecutive years, we offer an Italian fresh seasonal menu and known for our freshly hand-made crafted pasta.
The ideal Group Head Chef doesn’t need to have pasta making experience, and what is essential is the drive, attitude and passion for cooking.
The ideal candidate is a Head Chef:
- Who has worked in previous roles with systems in place for ordering, rotas, stock level and control etc.
- Who is hands-on with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Will have a high level of cooking
- Has an eye for details and numbers
- Experience in managing kitchen teams of at least 10/12
- High-volume kitchen operations experience would be valuable
