Pasta Chef – City of London – Sunday off

Job Spec:

We are an authentic, modern Italian restaurant and looking for a Pasta Chef for our operation in the City of London.

We are only serving seasonal, freshly prepared food; and use the very best seasonal produce.

The ideal Pasta Chef must have previous experience in a similar role and in a high-volume operation.

We have a strong kitchen team with 7/8 Chefs; and on average we serve 200 covers per day.

Last order is at 9.30pm then ½ hour cleaning and the chefs are out by 10.00pm

Lunch service is from 12.30pm to 3.00pm and dinner from 6/6.30pm to 9.30pm

Pasta Chef Shifts:

3 double shifts (start at 10.00am and finish at 10.00pm) break of 2 hours

2 single shifts and can be: 10am to 5.00pm or 5.00pm to closing

The ideal Pasta Chef should have:

• Experience in a similar role and high-volume operation
• Be confident, energetic and organized
• Passionate in cooking with fresh ingredients

In return the Pasta Chef will receive:

• £18 per hour including service charge
• Paid for every hour worked
• Sunday always off plus another day during the week
• 45/48 hours working week
• Restaurant is closed from the 25^th of December and up to the 4^th of January
• Receive the support and training from an inspiring Group Head Chef
