Our client,one of the most talked-about dining destinations in East Sussex and Kent, is now looking for a Senior Sous Chef.
The ideal Senior Sous Chef will have the opportunity to join a growing, ambitious business, with further expansion in the pipeline, and the right candidate will have huge potential for progression.
We are open seven days a week for dinner only and at lunch on weekends.
Reporting directly to the Exec Head Chef you will have a deep understanding of seasonal, particularly British food and have a passion to prepare,cook and present delicious plates of food,in the Grand European tradition,using the very best ingredients, particularly British.
Package
·Full-time,45 hours per week
·Salary £40,000–£45,000 + Tronc (£5,000)

The ideal Senior Sous Chef is someone with:
·Experience in managing the team and taking responsibility for all day-to-day due diligence
·Experience working in busy and fine dining kitchens where everyone is focused on delivering memorable plates of food in a collaborative and helpful environment
·Someone that is able and willing to take instruction and learn from both the Exec Chef and others around him/her
·Confident in managing stocks, budgets, and financial targets
·Organized and detail-focused, with a passion for training and mentoring
·Honest and open with a thirst to learn, particularly in areas where knowledge is below par
