Head Chef – British innovative restaurant – Camden

I am currently looking to recruit a Head Chef for a very different kind of restaurant situated in Camden Market. This is a fantastic new concept, not really done before and they are looking for a Head Chef to come onboard and be apart of their brilliant team.

The Head Chef’s responsibilities:
• Running service, overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, and leading and motivating the BOH team
• Responsible for all culinary activities within the restaurant
• Working with senior management to develop menus and special dishes, liaising with suppliers, monitoring GP and staff costs, and writing product specifications and recipes.
• Lead the BOH team, hiring, motivating, and managing staff of all levels, and ensuring full training on produce, products, food hygiene and
H&S.
• Overseeing food purchasing and storage.
• Maintaining rigorous standards across all aspects of your role, leading by example.
• Manage relationships and workflow within BOH team, and between FOH & BOH, working closely with the General Manager.
• Continuously improve product knowledge and understanding of Company ethos, training junior staff where necessary.
In Return the Head Chef would receive:
• £36,000 – £38,000 a year salary
